Semi-Automated Directory Submissions With Resellergo Print E-mail

I've been using the directory submission services of Resellergo, for quite a while now, and while I am a fan of having control of the directories I submit to, and having a semi-automated process in place in which I can send my websites, I find that after an hour of clicking "submit", I get very weary of the directory submission process, and I wish there was one button I could click that would "send all". While I can appreciate the need to submit to directories in a natural format, it gets very tiresome after a while. Even with the television on, or a movie on the computer screen, directory submitting is one dull business.

Now, Resellergo isn't the perfect tool for directory submitting, but the semi-automation is a plus. However, the technical support is non-existent, and the directory submission site is filled with duplicate directories, even after numerous reports to their feedback system to have them eliminated. Many times, www.domain.com, and domain.com are seen as two different directories, which inflates the number of directories they really have.

The quality of the web directories varies, depending on the nature of the website you submit, and whether you choose to submit to directories that have "captcha" (spam verfication) or not. However, submitting to the captcha sites can be very frustrating, especially when many of the numbers and letters are unrecognizable, forcing you to guess or skip over many of the directories.

It's difficult to measure the results of my directory submission progress, although I do get immediate emails from many of the directory sites. I will very often get many acceptances and rejections in the first few days, with a trickle of responses over the course of a few weeks, but like many other directory services, a lot of the submissions are unanswered, and it's your guess whether or not your website was accepted. Also, with many fly-by-night directories in place, the appearance of directory spamming, and sites converting to reciprocal or pay directories makes using Resellergo difficult to use at times, when there are so many errors in the submission system due to "invalid URLs" and other errors.

What percentage of my submissions are approved is a wild guess. And although they do have a guaranteed submission system in place as well for a premium price, it's far too expensive for most regular website owners who signed up with this reasonably-priced service in order to save money on doing their own directory submissions rather than spend it.

There aren't many competitors out there for semi-automated submissions, and their subscription price isn't too steep, however they have recently removed the "gold" service, which I use, which may be a disappointment to webmasters who have larger networks. Overall, I guess I can't complain too much about the value of this service, as I have submitted many websites for the price of my original membership, which would translate to less than a dollar per thousand submissions. Hopefully the money I saved can be put towards my carpal tunnel surgery.
